Does completing this course make me certified?
This is an online phlebotomy preparation course. Completion of PETC Online Training is not the same as earning a national phlebotomy certification. Certification requirements may vary depending on the credentialing organization and your location.
Does the course include clinical hours or hands-on training?
The online course provides didactic training and preparation. Any required hands-on clinical experience is separate from online tuition unless specifically stated otherwise. Students outside PETC's local service area may need to arrange clinical experience in their own area.
Is the course self-paced?
Yes. The course is designed so you can move through the online training around your schedule while following the structured lesson sequence.
How do I access the course after I enroll?
New students create their account during Checkout. After enrollment, use your PETC student account to access the Student Portal and your assigned course.
Do I need to create an account before purchasing?
No. New students begin with the enrollment process. Your PETC student account is created as part of Checkout.

Can I take the course if I do not live near PETC?
The online training can be accessed remotely. If your certification pathway requires hands-on clinical experience, you may be responsible for arranging that experience in your local area.
